Venezuelan Relief Collection

This weekend, July 11 & 12, we are taking up a collection for Venezuelan Earthquake Relief. Please make checks payable to Sacred Heart or Our Lady’s with “Venezuela Relief” in the memo line. Funds will be sent to Catholic Relief Services as they provide aid. Thank you in advance for your generosity. 

Statement of Archbishop Henning: “Today, our hearts and prayers are with the people of Venezuela following [Wednesday’s] devastating earthquakes. We especially hold close our Venezuelan brothers and sisters here in Boston who may be anxiously awaiting news of family and friends back home. May all affected by the earthquake’s aftermath find comfort in knowing that the local Church stands with them in prayer and solidarity. Through the intercession of Our Lady of Coromoto, Patroness of Venezuela, may God grant strength, comfort, healing, peace and hope to all during this difficult time.”
